ChiTownBio is looking to create the first public biospace in the city of Chicago. We hope to put the tools of biotechnology into the hands of all Chicagoland citizens, and in order to put this plan into action, we need your help and your donations! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we rely on our organizers and members to support our programming. Building upon the success of community labs across the nation, such as Genspace in NYC, Baltimore UnderGround Science Space (BUGSS) in Baltimore, and BioCurious in the Bay Area, ChiTownBio is dedicated to creating a diverse community and providing an inclusive, state-of-the-art space where makers, hackers, artists, teachers, students, etc. can do biology.
Please consider donating to our organization so we can bring our vision of a publicly accessible, fully functional biolab to the people of Chicago!
